Suriya’s much-awaited film Kanguva has become one of the most talked-about projects in Kollywood. The industry has high expectations for this period action drama, with some speculating that Kanguva could be the film that pushes Tamil cinema into the 1000-crore club. Directed by Siruthai Siva, the film also features Bollywood star Bobby Deol as the antagonist.
Initially set for release on October 10th, the team decided to delay it to avoid a clash with Superstar’s Vettaiyan. The latest update from the production house is that Kanguva will now hit theaters on November 14th. The announcement was made alongside the release of a motion poster, revealing the new date.
The team has always aimed for a solo release, which is why the film was moved to mid-November. With the theatrical trailer already out, fans can expect another trailer closer to the release. The film stars Disha Patani as the female lead, and is being produced by Studio Green and UV Creations. Kanguva is also confirmed to have a sequel in the works.
