All three of the Sankranthi releases – Waltair Veerayya, Veera Simha Reddy, and Varasudu had a pretty good Sankrnthi season as they clocked good revenues this festival season.
Waltair Veerayya is the leader of the pack now with excellent collections in the domestic and also at the overseas box office. This film has clocked over Rs 50 crores workdwide share in 3 days.
Veera Simha Reddy has also clocked over Rs 50 crores share but it took the film 4 days to reach this feat while Waltair Veerayya did it in two days.
Varasudu has been reporting small numbers but that is what is expected from a dubbed film, so there isn’t too much to complain about.
All three films have managed to pull up the interest of the Telugu audience to a good extent. As things stand, Waltair Veerayya is the clear favorite for the Sankranthi Winner title with its excellent box office numbers.
