Late Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar will be awarded the Karnataka Ratna award posthumously by the state government. Jr NTR is one of the invitees to the same along with Rajinikanth.
NTR landed in Bengaluru a short while ago and he got a royal welcome from the state government authorities there. In fact, a Karnataka cabinet minister also went to the airport to receive, which gives an idea of the kind of reception Tarak got there.
Rajini also received a warm welcome from the government authorities and the stage is now set for the Karnataka Ratna award event. Puneeth’s brother Shiva Rajkumar will receive the award on Puneeth’s behalf.
