Director Ohmkar, who impressed the audience with his horror comedy franchise Raju Gari Gadhi, is coming up with a new horror web series titled Mansion 24. The series is exclusively created for Disney Plus Hotstar. The character posters raised curiosity among the audience. Mansion 24 stars Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar, Avika Gor, Bindu Madhavi, Nandu, Manas, Ayyappa P. Sharma, Rao Ramesh and others in key roles.
Mansion 24 trailer launch event was held in Hyderabad. Director Anil Ravipudi participated as a guest in this program. On this occasion, Music director Vikas Badisa said – Working for the series Mansion 24 gave a new experience. Western, classical, rustic, I got the opportunity to do all genres of music with this one series. It should be said that it is a multi genre web series. Thanks to director Ohmkar for giving me the opportunity to work for Mansion 24.
Art director Ashok Kumar said – I have worked with Ohmkar garu for many TV shows and programs in the past. In this web series, the artwork also has a character. We have done art work with many variations. Ohmkar is a director with conviction and I feel proud to see him. I wish Mansion 24 web series will be a great success for everyone.
DOP B. Rajasekhar said – I have 22 years association with Tollywood. Here I worked for big movies like Orange and Arya 2. A passionate crew worked for Mansion 24. Everyone from 24 crafts worked hard. If the shoot starts with morning coffee, it would end with morning coffee again. We worked for 40 days in a schedule of 48 days. Omkar has shot this series in great detail. Ohmkar will do team work during the shooting time. It was a pleasure to work with him.
Director Omkar said – Thanks to director Anil garu who came as a cheif guest for our event. I met him during the movie Pataas. Since then, he has become a star director after getting back to back blockbusters. No matter how much he has grown up, he has been attending and promoting to small movies and series. I wish that Bhagavanth Kesari to become a big hit. There is an impression among the audience that a web series is more of a TV program and less of a movie. But now the trend is changing. OTT reach has increased within few days. In such a right time, I think I am entering OTT with Mansion 24 web series.
Disney hot star, along with our technicians and artists supported a lot to make this web series without compromise. DVP Manoj, Art Director Ashok Garu, Vikas who composed the music, they are all worked hard for this series. All the artists were very supportive. Varalaxmi appeared very powerful in Krack and Veera Simha Reddy. But she is soft in person. Varalaxmi may leave the set at 6 pm in the busy schedule. But during the climax time, they worked till 12:00 in the night. If we look at North they don’t have budget restrictions, we have budget restrictions for web series in Telugu. That’s why we worked full days for good output in less time.
He added “We used to start shoot at 6 am and complete it next day 6 am. My strength is my younger brothers Kalyan and Ashwin. If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be on this stage. Also thanks to all my direction department and other team members. The six episodes of Mansion 24 are interesting enough to binge watch. Each episode ends with a hook point. The whole family can watch it together. In covid time I focused on TV programs. If not for covid, I would have done another film and explore myself in other genres. The new film that I am going to do, is going to be something like that and it will not be in horror genre.
Director Anil Ravipudi said – Trailer of Mansion 24 looks very very promising. Good technicians and artists have created this quality series and I know many of them. Varalaxmi garu played the lead role. She is doing characters with variations in every movie like Naandhi, Krack, Veerasimha Reddy and I think she can be called as Lady SVR. I know Ohmkar from Pataas time. With Mansion 24 series, he is making an OTT entry and I wyoh him a blockbuster entry. Ashwin is my good friend. Ohmkar should continue doing the film’s too. Also, I want to make a family entertainer with the connection between your brothers.

Actress Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar said – Ohmkar gave me a good character in Mansion 24 series. I’m very happy to act in this web series. A horror thriller story needs good music. Music director Vikas has given such sounding, and Ashok has done brilliant art work for each episode. DOP Manoj has been my acquaintance for a long time. There are so many beautiful and meaningful frame in this series. Director Ohmkar and DOP Manoj are perfectionists. Even if there is a small difference in the frame, that scene will be done again.
