Today, leading film star and Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan is celebrating his birthday. To mark this special day, the makers of his much-awaited gangster drama, OG, initially planned to reveal the release date of the film’s first single along with a special poster tomorrow.
However, due to the ongoing heavy rains and floods in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the OG team announced on X late Sunday night that they have decided to cancel all announcements scheduled for tomorrow. The team stated, “OG is a film that will be cherished for years. Let’s face these challenges together and celebrate in a grand way soon.” In response to a fan on X, the team also hinted that the birthday announcements were postponed at the request of Pawan Kalyan. A new date for the announcements will be shared soon.
OG features Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi and young actress Priyanka Mohan in key roles. Directed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Danayya under the DVV Entertainment banner, this high-budget film has music by Thaman and is set to release worldwide on March 27, 2025.
Similarly, the team behind Hari Hara Veera Mallu announced that they too will refrain from releasing any special updates today in honor of Pawan Kalyan’s birthday, considering the natural disasters affecting the Telugu states. The updates will be shared at a later time.
