Vijay Deverakonda is eagerly anticipating the success of his upcoming film, currently known as VD12. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, a significant portion of the film was recently shot in Sri Lanka.
The filmmakers have released the first look of Vijay Deverakonda from the movie, showcasing him in a fierce and intense avatar. The film is scheduled for a grand release on March 28th, 2025, aligning with the Ugadi holiday weekend, with the official title expected to be announced in August.
In this high-octane action film, Vijay Deverakonda takes on the role of a cop. This marks Gowtam Tinnanuri’s first venture into the action genre, following his work on emotionally driven films like Malli Raava and Jersey.
With 60 percent of the shooting already completed, Baghyashri Borse stars as the leading lady. The film is being produced by Sithara Entertainments, Srikara Studios, and Fortune Four Cinemas.
Anirudh is composing the music and background score, and the shoot is expected to wrap up soon.
After finishing VD12, Vijay Deverakonda will move on to his next project with Rahul Sankrityan later this year.
