After making the critically acclaimed and commercial blockbuster- The Kashmir Files, filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is coming up with India’s first bio-science film ‘The Vaccine War’. Pallavi Joshi of I Am Buddha Productions is producing the movie, besides playing a vital role. Abhishek Agarwal of Abhishek Agarwal Arts who earlier collaborated with Vivek Agnihotri for The Kashmir Files is associated for this project as well. The makers unveiled the theatrical trailer of the movie today.
As we can see in the trailer that sets the stage for the film’s core theme, the movie will open certain chapters about COVID-19 and vaccination drills in the country. The video begins with Nana Patekar as the head of scientists, taking up the challenge to create a vaccine for the virus. However, he urges the higher officials to keep it a top secret in the interest of national security. There is a scene where a journalist aims to tarnish the image of the indigenous vaccine and the government. The journalist played by Raima Sen decisively states, “No, India can’t be successful in creating a vaccine.”
The trailer is thoroughly engaging and there’s no single unwanted scene in the video. The film features Nana Patekar, Anupam Kher, Sapthami Gowda, Paritosh Sand, Sneha Miland, and Divya Seth among others.
Vaccine War will be released in 10 plus languages including Hindi, English, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Urdu and Assamese on September 28th.
