Tollywood box office will welcome three new releases Waltair Veerayya, Veera Simha Reddy, and Varasudu next Sankranthi season. All these three films will be releasing in close proximity next festival season.
Meanwhile, the theatre allocation has become a big problem for these three films. Dil Raju, the producer of Varasudu has been locking several major theatres in big centers for the Vijay starrer.
Like for instance, Varasudu has locked 6 screens in Vizag while Waltair Veerayya and VSR are having to settle with 4 each. The fact that a dubbed film is getting more screens than two straight Telugu films is the talk of the town now. The same might happen in other key centers like Hyderabad as well.
The theatre allocation for next Sankranthi is going to be a mighty important one and the issue needs to be handled amicably with two seniors like Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna involved.
We will get more clarity on the actual allocations in the next few weeks as these films head for release in the second week of January.
