Despite being small-budget films, we have been witnessing some masterpieces with amazing stories which are different from the routine and compelling story. Now, the production banner, Mike Movies which is known for its diverse films, is all set to come up with yet another interesting film ‘Mattikatha’. The nativity in the title itself has been grabbing the attention of the audience. Well-known film writer and director KV Vijayendra Prasad recently released the trailer and first look of the film on Sunday which received a decent response from the audience. On this occasion, Vijayendra Prasad said, “I liked the title Mattikatha very much. We were born and will die in the soil. Telangana is my favorite place. People here are pure at heart. Everyone must watch this movie.
The twists and turns faced by a village boy to fulfil his dreams, his connection with the land, and the joys, hardships and spirituality of the village have been showcased realistically and artistically. There are dialogues like “Annam Pette Polaanni Ammukunte Ettaa Bidda?”, “Antha Pedda Rajaakaarla Daadappade Mem Ooru Idchi Poledu. Inthu Mutthemantha Daanike Pareshaanayittuvu”, which are emotional. Dialogues like “Jayam Cinemaala Nithiin Lekka Urikostunnav” are entertaining.
This movie is directed by Pawan Kadiyala and produced by Annapareddy Appireddy. Co-Producer is Satish Manjeera. Starring Ajay Ved as the hero, the film featured popular folk singer Kanakavva, ‘Balagam’ grandfather Sudhakar Reddy, Dayanand Reddy and others. Smaran Sai composed the music and Kumbham Uday edited the film.
