Pawan Kalyan is teaming up with Sujeeth for a massive action drama OG, backed by DVV Danayya under DVV Entertainment, the banner behind the Oscar-winning film RRR. Priyanka Mohan is the female lead in the film which has a stellar cast comprising Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, Prakash Raj and Hindi actor Emraan Hashmi has been roped in as the antagonist.
Celebrating Pawan Kalyan’s birthday, a high-octane glimpse from the film was launched today. Director Sujeeth, composer S Thaman, producer DVV Danayya’s son Kalyan Dasari watched the glimpse with fans. It was a festive atmosphere at the theatres as they cherished the prospect of watching their idol on the big screen. Needless to say, the glimpse has left Pawan Kalyan’s fans satisfied.
Hungry Cheetah begins with Actor Arjundas voiceover, introducing Pawan Kalyan’s character to viewers. “Do you remember the storm that swept Bombay 10 years ago? It nearly destroyed the city. However, no storm could wipe away the blood stains of the people he had massacred. It was a freaking blood bath. If such a man is returning, he’ll be a satan,” the dialogue talks of Pawan Kalyan.
OG promises to be unabashed feast for action junkies, portraying Pawan Kalyan in a never-before-seen avatar. From the slow-motion shots, the stylish cinematography, costumes slick edits to the strong backstories and S Thaman’s fantabulous score, the film is a perfect fan-boy tribute from Sujeeth to Pawan Kalyan. The 100-second glimpse leaves us craving for more.
The film’s shoot is progressing at a brisk pace and a new schedule is expected to commence later this month. The makers are thrilled about Sujeeth’s execution skills, delivering complex action sequences, making the most of the abilities of the pan-Indian star cast.
