After releasing several teasers earlier this summer, Mirai, featuring Teja Sajja and Manchu Manoj, has grabbed the attention of movie enthusiasts. Since then, the project has been moving forward quietly, with nearly 60% of filming now complete.
A source familiar with the production shared that the latest schedule wrapped up in Hyderabad, spanning just over a week and focusing on an action sequence. Filming is set to resume around November 6th or 7th, with plans to shoot for another 15-20 days. The goal is to finish shooting by the end of December.
The source also mentioned that the action sequences are shaping up impressively, offering something unique that the Telugu audience hasn’t seen before.
Mirai revolves around King Ashoka and his hidden Nine, with Teja Sajja portraying a Super Yodha tasked with safeguarding sacred scriptures, while Manchu Manoj plays the antagonist, Black Sword, who seeks control over these scriptures to attain divine powers. This sets the stage for an epic confrontation between good and evil.
The film is directed by Karthik Gattamneni, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Manibabu Karanam. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the banner of People Media Factory, Mirai is slated for a summer release in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and even Chinese, in both 2D and 3D formats.
