Samantha is keenly awaiting the release of Yashoda which can be regarded as her comeback film. After a lengthy delay, she is featuring in a mainstream Telugu film and here is an interesting update on the same.
The producer of the film, Sivalenka Krishna Prasad has dropped an intriguing update on the production values of the film.
“Yashoda was initially conceived with a budget of Rs 4 crores. This is what the directors had designed. But after Samantha came on board and the span of the story demanded it, we decided to make it lavishly and we ended up spending Rs 40 crores on the project” the producer said.
The producer said Samantha is the sole reason why the project was upscaled so very much. He seemed really confident about the output and said he fully trusts in the output generated by the directors Hari and Harish.
