Supreme Hero Sai Durgha Tej, known for his charitable nature, once again showed his compassionate side, drawing inspiration from his uncle, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. In response to the recent floods that affected both Telugu states, he stepped up by donating Rs 10 lakhs each to the Chief Minister’s Relief Funds of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, amounting to a total of Rs 20 lakhs. Additionally, he contributed Rs 5 lakhs to the Amma Foundation and other charitable organizations.
Sai Durgha Tej made a personal trip to Vijayawada, where he not only fulfilled his pledge but also visited the Amma Orphanage to check on the well-being of the elderly residents following the floods. After offering his prayers at the Durga Amma temple, he handed over Rs 2 lakhs to the orphanage and Rs 3 lakhs to other organizations.
Taking time to interact with the elderly, he personally met the residents of the orphanage, further solidifying his reputation for heartfelt charity work. Over the years, Sai Durgha Tej has undertaken several philanthropic initiatives, earning both admiration and blessings from many.
In 2019, on his birthday, Sai Durgha Tej promised to build a new facility for the Amma Orphanage. True to his word, he completed the building by 2021. Furthermore, he took responsibility for the orphanage’s needs for nearly three years, covering all costs and frequently visiting to ensure the residents’ well-being.
