Yashoda is the immediate next release of Samantha. The film is up for release on the 11th of this month and it is being promoted as a proper action thriller with a maze-like screenplay.
As per reports, a whopping Rs 50 crores are at stake with Samantha’s Yashoda as the film has done a surprisingly high pre-release theatrical and non theatrical business.
The all-language theatrical rights of the film are said to be Rs 25 crores which is adequate for Sam’s market. The satellite and digital rights, along with the audio rights are said to have fetched another Rs 25 crores.
All in all, Yashoda has done some mighty good pre release business and the onus is now on the film to perform as per expectations at the box office.
The film is directed by Hari – Harish and it is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under Sridevi Movies banner. IT has Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, and others in the other lead roles.
