The coming Sankranthi season is going to be a really interesting one with multiple big ticket films lined up for release. The said films are Veera Simha Reddy, Waltair Veerayya, and Varasudu. Here’s a brief report on the tentative release plans of these films.
Veera Simha Reddy and Varasudu have primitively locked the 12th January slot, which is often regarded as the prime Sankranthi release slot. It will be the most advantageous release date as the film releasing first in the Sankranthi race has the best bx office prospects to look forward to, Varasudu and Veera Simha Reddy will have the same.
Then there’s Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya which is likely to release in theaters on the 13th of January. This film has the Chiru advantage and it could be the last biggie up for release next festival season.
Then there’s Ajith’s Thunivu as well. But this film’s Telugu dubbed release plans are unclear and are subject to change till the end.
