Matka is Varun Tej’s first pan-Indian venture, directed by Karuna Kumar. The film stars Meenakshi Chaudhary and Nora Fatehi as the female leads.

The cast also includes Naveen Chandra, Ajay Ghosh, Kannada Kishore, Ravindra Vijay, and P. Ravi Shankar in pivotal roles. Produced by Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala and Rajani Thalluri under Vyra Entertainments and SRT Entertainment, the movie features music composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar.
