Naga Shaurya and Malavika Menon starrer Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi released in theaters on the 17th of this month and it opened to mixed reviews.
Coming to the OTT aspect of the film, its post theatrical OTT streaming rights are with Sun NXT. The same was confirmed in the theatrical screening of the film.
Sun NXT isn’t usually aggressive when it comes to acquiring Telugu films but the OTT platform has gone all out for the Naga Shaurya starrer now.
Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi is directed by Srinivas Avasarala and it is rural love drama with class sensibilties. The plot and the narrative are fresh but the core point isn’t for all sections of the audience.
The film is expected to premiere on Sun NXT at least 6 weeks post its theatrical release.
