Natural Star Nani’s Wall Poster Cinema presents another intriguing project COURT – State Vs A Nobody, which marks the directorial debut of Ram Jagadeesh. Produced by Prashanti Tipirneni, with Deepthi Ganta as co-producer, the film features Priyadarshi in the lead role, alongside Harsh Roshan and Sridevi. With the release date fast approaching, the makers have unveiled the theatrical trailer, which finally reveals the storyline.
The trailer opens with the arrest of a teenager, followed by the arrival of the girl’s father and a lawyer at the police station. The lawyer outlines the charges against the boy, including POCSO, with even the most experienced lawyers unwilling to take on such a severe case. When his boss expresses his hesitation, Priyadarshi steps in to argue the case himself.
As suggested by the trailer, COURT – State Vs A Nobody delves into the severity of various criminal charges against teenagers who unknowingly commit crimes. The film aims to educate viewers about the consequences of such offenses, showcasing the deep research done by director Ram Jagadeesh. The narrative unfolds in an authentic, gripping manner, building tension as the story progresses.
The film’s strength lies in its genuine portrayal of characters rather than performances. Priyadarshi, typically known for his comedic roles, delivers an intense performance as a budding lawyer.
