My journey with Jr. NTR has always been special. Devara will be a visual treat for everyone – Director Koratala Siva

In the high-budget film Devara, directed by Koratala Siva, Jr. NTR stars in the titular role, with Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan in a key role. The movie is produced by Mikkilineni Sudhakar and Hari Krishna K under the banners of NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts, presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. Set for a grand worldwide release on September 27, Devara is a fictional story, not based on real events.

Koratala Siva shared exciting details about the film, explaining that it explores the concept of fear and responsibility, emphasizing how some fear is essential for making wise decisions. He praised Jr. NTR’s openness during discussions and shared that the film took six months of preparation, especially for the ocean scenes, as there were no precedents for such shooting techniques in Indian cinema.

The director also reflected on his previous film Acharya, saying that although it did not meet expectations, he faced no pressure while working on Devara. He also discussed the decision to split the story into two parts due to its scale.

Janhvi Kapoor, who plays the female lead, was appreciated for her dedication, learning and rehearsing thoroughly. Siva also highlighted Saif Ali Khan’s commitment, who perfectly embodied the character despite initial concerns about his look.

Finally, Siva expressed satisfaction with Anirudh’s music, particularly the “Fear Song,” and announced plans to release the “Ayudha Puja” song soon. He concluded by promising that Devara will be a visual feast when it releases on September 27.
