Analysis :

MS Raju a bold attempt to show the romance between the matured couple Is Malli Pelli Story. The story was narrated in six episodes Flirting, Mistake, My Story, Krishna Story, and Conflict. This idea worked well in creating curiosity about the happenings in the story. “The mistake” chapter featuring Narendra and Soumya’s characters is handled impressively. Naresh’s hit songs will turn nostalgic when they are played on the screen.

Director MS Raju did a good job in effectively handling the matured relationships. He presented what he intended in an impressive manner. Music directors Suresh Bobbili and Aruldev did an admirable job, as the songs were nicely composed. The background score was also decent. Cinematography by Bal Reddy deserves mention as he made the film look lavish. The dialogues are well written. The production values by Vijaya Krishna Movies are grand.

Overall, Malli Pelli is an overdramatised, sensationalistic cinematic retelling of real life. It does offer intrigue to those who aren’t following real-life events. They can give the movie a try. Others following the couple since the first controversy blew up might find the reality more engaging.
