Kannada cinema’s latest outing, Kantara is going on a super strong run at the box office. The film collected Rs 2.1 crores share on its opening day in the Telugu states and reached the breakeven target on its opening day itself.
The film is now going on a dream run at the Hindi box office as well. The film is doing very well in the conventional Hindi belt, much to the surprise of everyone involved.
Kantara collected Rs 1.25 crores on its opening Friday in Hindi and it then went on to collect 2.75 crores on Saturday and a mighty impressive Rs 4 crores on Sunday. It has touched the Rs 8 crores mark in its opening weekeend.
Kantara is clearly striking the right chords in the Hindi market and it has already grossed over Rs 100 crores worldwide. It is turning out to be a huge money spinner for everyone involved.
