Kamal Haasan and Shankar are promoting Indian 2 aggressively. They are leaving no stone unturned to take the vigilante action thriller close to the audience. After doing extensive promotions in Hindi, the team is now busy with Telugu promotions. A pre-release event and a press meet with Telugu media were conducted lately.
A rumor has been going viral that Kamal will have less screen time in Indian 2, but he will appear for a significant time in the third installment. During the Telugu press meet, the same question was put forth to the team. Kamal Haasan answered, “Nothing is more important than the whole film. A director thinks about the whole film. The length doesn’t matter at all. If I am playing a character like Senapathy, I can’t ask my director to incorporate a duet for me.”
Shankar replied, “The rumor is absolutely false. Kamal Haasan Garu will be seen throughout the film. Even in the scenes where he doesn’t appear, there will be a discussion of Kamal Haasan sir’s character. The whole movie will revolve around him. Don’t believe the rumors about his screen time.”
