Pan-India stars Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s blockbuster sci-fi mythological epic, Kalki 2898 AD, surpassed the Rs 1,000 crore milestone. Kalki is the seventh Indian movie ever to join this elite club, after Dangal, Baahubali 2, RRR, KGF 2, Jawan, and Pathaan.
Thanking all the fans and movie lovers for making Kalki a historic success, the film’s unit released a special poster featuring Prabhas as Karna. “1000 crore and counting. This milestone is a celebration of your love. We poured our hearts into this film, and you embraced it with open hearts. Thank you to the audience across the world,” the makers tweeted.
The Nag Ashwin directorial also features veteran stalwarts Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan, Sobhana, Disha Patani, Anna Ben, Pasupathy, and several prominent stars in key roles. Produced by Ashwini Dutt, the film has a soundtrack composed by Santhosh Narayanan
