Prabhas is currently the only Telugu superstar with exceptional planning, consistently delivering films at a pace unmatched by any other Telugu hero. However, Jr NTR might soon be giving him some competition, as he seems to be mapping out an ambitious schedule for himself.
NTR’s next release, Devara, is slated for September 27th, marking his first theatrical release nearly 30 months after RRR. Following that, *War 2* is set to hit screens on August 15, 2025. Given the timeline, War 2 could easily stay on track without delays. Finally, there’s his collaboration with Prashanth Neel, which has a release date of January 9, 2026. This is where things could get challenging.
NTR might need to wrap up War 2 before transitioning to Neel’s project. Realistically, filming might only begin towards the end of this year. For the film to meet its January 2026 deadline, Neel would need to execute the project with precision, although, considering his reputation as an efficient director, it’s not out of reach.
If NTR manages to release these three films within a span of 15 months, it would go a long way in compensating his fans, who have had just one release from him between 2018 and 2024 (RRR in 2022).
