Hold the remote! Akhil’s Agent is skipping straight to TV, not OTT.

Akhil Akkineni’s forthcoming project with UV Creations is generating significant buzz, while his recent spy thriller film, “Agent,” continues to garner attention regarding its digital release on Sony LIV.

“Agent,” which underperformed at the box office, is now driving anticipation for its streaming debut. However, in an unexpected turn, the film will first premiere on the Goldmines TV channel in Hindi, with the exact date yet to be announced. This news has left fans eagerly awaiting the Sony LIV release date, hoping to finally watch the film after its disappointing theatrical run.

Directed by Surender Reddy, “Agent” boasts a stellar cast featuring Mammootty, Sakshi Vaidya, and Dino Moriya. The film’s screenplay is penned by Vakkantam Vamsi, with production by Ramabrahmam Sunkara and a captivating musical score composed by Hiphop Tamizha.
