Dharma and Aishwarya Sharma play the lead roles in the movie Drinker Sai, which carries the tagline “Brand of Bad Boys.” The film is produced by Basavaraju Srinivas, Ismail Sheikh, and Basavaraju Laharidhar under the banners of Everest Cinemas and Smart Screen Entertainments. Directed by Kiran Tirumalasetti, the movie is inspired by real events and is gearing up for a grand theatrical release soon.
At yesterday’s teaser launch event, Drinker Sai was introduced in an unconventional way — by celebrities playing everyday roles such as an auto driver, electrician, AC mechanic, motor mechanic, waiter, and coolie.
Producer Ismail Sheikh said:
“We hope you all liked the teaser of Drinker Sai. This is a film that will move the hearts of the audience. While people often seek small films on OTT platforms and larger productions in cinemas, our Drinker Sai will offer the best experience on the big screen. We’ll be bringing it to you soon.”
Producer Basavaraju Laharidhar added:
“Drinker Sai is a complete commercial film. Dharma’s performance will leave a lasting impression. What you saw in the teaser is just a glimpse — there’s so much more to the story. We hope you’ll support Drinker Sai when it releases.”
Actress Aishwarya Sharma shared:
“Thank you to everyone who attended the teaser launch for Drinker Sai. I’m grateful to director Kiran garu for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to portray this character. I’m thrilled to bring this beautiful story to the Telugu audience. Drinker Sai will touch your hearts with its engaging love story. Hero Dharma was incredibly supportive during the filming, and I’d like to thank everyone involved in the project.”
Actor Amberpeta Shankar remarked:
“I’ve been approached by many directors and producers in the film industry, including Ram Gopal Varma. However, I agreed to act in Drinker Sai only after my younger brother Dharma and producer Basavaraju Srinivas personally requested me. This film will entertain you and deliver a meaningful message.”
Actress Kirrak Seetha expressed:
“I play a key role in Drinker Sai, and I’m thankful to our producers and director for this opportunity. Don’t judge the film solely based on the teaser. There are many layers to the story that will captivate you, and you’ll enjoy the film from start to finish. I encourage everyone to watch Drinker Sai in theaters.”
Hero Dharma said:
“Thank you to everyone who attended the teaser launch. I will never forget the love and support I’ve received. A big thanks to our director Kiran garu and producers Srinivas, Ismail, and Laharidhar garu for giving me the chance to play the hero. I’ve come this far thanks to the encouragement of my parents. Shankar’s support during the film was invaluable, and he did an amazing job in his role. After watching Drinker Sai teaser, don’t assume it’s a film that misguides youth. It’s a heartfelt love story with many elements you will enjoy.”
Director Kiran Tirumalasetti explained:
“Sai, the hero of our film, is almost a household name. He’s a man who drinks excessively, which is why we named the film Drinker Sai. While the teaser might give the impression of crude language, those are words we often use in real life. Those who may have a negative impression after watching the teaser will change their mind once they watch the film in theaters. I am confident that viewers will appreciate the movie. I hope you’ll support us when it releases.”
The teaser of Drinker Sai showcases a youthful, loving, and entertaining vibe. The mass love proposals made by the hero to the heroine are particularly striking. Dharma’s performance as the lead is emotional and convincing, while Aishwarya delivers a well-balanced performance. The teaser also highlights key supporting roles played by actors like Posani Krishna Murali, Sameer, and Bhadram. It hints at a raw and rustic love story, with Drinker Sai promising to be a unique cinematic experience.
