Disney+ Hotstar had been focusing on expanding its footprint down South. They have been rolling out more and more content aimed at the South Indian audience.
The latest news is that Hotstar is commissioning a super costly series with South superstar Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role.
The OTT giant has allocated a massive budget for the series and it will be directed by Manikandan of Kaka Muttai fame. It will be shot in a scale that no South Indian series had been shot till now.
Vijay Sethupathi has allotted his dates for the project and the commencement of the shoot is not too far from now. More details about the cast and crew will be out in the days to follow.
