Samantha’s Yashoda had a fairly decent opening weekend at the box office. The film is a profit venture in the USA already as it has grossed over $500k there.
Now the directors of the film, Hari and Harish has dropped an interesting update on the possible sequel of the film.
“Yashoda 2 might happen if Samantha agrees to it. We have an idea in mind and will narrate it to Sam once she is fully fit and is back in action. We have the leads for Yashoda 3 as well but it is a bit too distinct for now” the directors said.
Samantha is currently recovering from the Myositis medical condition that she had cited recently. She will continue the therapy for the same for a few more weeks.
The actress will next be seen in Shakuntalam which is the costliest project in her career (with her in the lead role). This period love drama is directed by Gunasekhar and it is expected to release early next year.
