Hollywood biggie Avatar 2 has gone on a mind boggling run at the Tollywood box office on its opening day. The film has shattered the record for the biggest English opener in the Telugu states.
Avatar 2 has collected Rs 14 crores share in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on the opening day and this is almost thrice as the openings ever recorded for an English film here.
The record was previously held by Spider-Man: No Way Home with Rs 5.5 crore and now, Avatar 2 has beaten the tally by double the margin. This a truly staggering feat by the James Cameron directorial.
The film is recording exceptional bookings on the second day as well, so the theatrical returns will be on a high for the second consecutive day.
