Ashok Galla, the grandson of superstar Krishna and nephew of Mahesh Babu, is making a grand entrance as the lead actor in the mass action entertainer ‘Devaki Nandana Vasudeva’. He is set to showcase himself in a unique avatar in this film. Directed by Arjun Jandyala, who gained fame with ‘Guna 369’, this movie is produced by Somineni Balakrishna under the Lalithambika Productions banner and presented by Nallapaneni Yamini.

On Sunday, the producers announced the film’s release date at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. ‘Devaki Nandana Vasudeva’ is set to release globally on November 14, the day before Guru Purnima. The release date poster reveals Ashok Galla in a serious look, depicting him in a dual role, one as a sage and the other as a powerful character, with a statue of Lord Krishna in the background.

The teaser hints at spiritual elements in the film, and the first song received a superb response. With the release date confirmed, the makers plan to keep audiences engaged with regular updates.

Producer Balakrishna shared, “Our movie will face competition from ‘Matka’ and ‘Kanguva’ n theaters, but I believe in our project. Even though we’re relatively new, we’ve created a good output and a positive image. You’ll feel that we’ve made a quality film once you watch it in theaters. The story by Prashanth Varma brings a fresh idea, and composer Bheems has given some catchy tunes. Sai Madhav’s dialogues are sharp, and our director executed the film perfectly. ‘Devaki Nandana Vasudeva’ releases on November 14, and we hope for everyone’s support.”

Lead actress Manasa shared, “My journey with this film started last year, and now it’s close to release. As my debut film, working with experienced artists taught me a lot. My character is named Satyabhama, and I relate to her courage and resilience. It’s a commercial, divine thriller that I believe will captivate everyone.”

Director Arjun Jandyala added, “I can confidently say we’ve made a great film. Prashanth gave us a unique storyline and allowed me to work in a way that preserved the story’s soul. It’s a full-on commercial film with an original plot that hasn’t been explored before. Comparisons with ‘Murari’ have been made, and I can say this film will surpass it. The visuals by Rasul and the action scenes are attractions, and Ashok performed like a top-tier hero. Devadatta Nag, who acted in ‘Adipurush’, and Manasa also did an outstanding job.”

Hero Ashok Galla said, “This is my second film, and I want to thank Prashanth Varma for the powerful story that audiences will connect with deeply. Manasa has a challenging role, and her performance will elevate her career. I look forward to the success of this film on November 14.”

When asked questions by the press, here were some responses from the cast and crew:

Director Arjun Jandyala said, “With ‘Guna 369’, I presented a message, and in this film, we convey how divine vibrations with noble intent can help us. The title ‘Vasudeva’ fits perfectly with Krishna as the backdrop. This is a family entertainer with an authentic Telugu title and a divine feel that highlights every character from start to finish. We crafted a detailed screenplay.”

Manasa shared, “I performed dances in this movie, which was a refreshing change from my background in Miss India and modeling. I was curious about films since childhood and prepared through workshops. Director Arjun has been my mentor in shaping my role beautifully.”

Ashok Galla stated, “I want to create quality films and maintain my reputation. I was instantly drawn to the story. This is a high-scale commercial film, and I’m excited to take it on as my second project. The dance scenes were challenging yet rewarding. Set against a backdrop of Vijayanagara, the movie features my character named Krishna, a young man who takes on challenges fearlessly and is driven by faith in God.”

Alongside Ashok Galla, Varanasi Manasa stars as the female lead. The story is crafted by creative director Prashanth Varma, known for ‘Hanu-Man’, with dialogue by acclaimed writer Sai Madhav Burra. The film’s music is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, while cinematography is handled by Prasad Murella and Rasul Ellore, with editing by Tammiraju.
