Hyderabad is all set to witness a grand tribute concert dedicated to the legendary music composer, a tribute to Maestro Ilaiyaraaja and a Live concert by Maestro himself on 25th & 26th February at Gachibowli Stadium.
Hyderabad Talkies, the organizers of the much-anticipated event, met with Shri. Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao, Hon’ble Minister for Municipal Administration & Urban Development, Industries & Commerce, Information Technology of Telangana, Shri. Srinivas Goud, Minister of Culture and Sports, extended a formal invitation to the minister, requesting his presence to grace the occasion and honour the music legend. The team also met Shri. Chiranjeevi Konidela, Shri. Nagarjuna Akkineni, and invited them to be part of the tribute concert.
The Hon’ble Minister will join several celebrities to pay his tribute, and honour the renowned composer Maestro Ilaiyaraaja, whose contribution to the music industry is immeasurable. The concert promises to be a grand affair.

Chiranjeevi, expressed his immense happiness to be part of this tribute, “it’s a great opportunity to be on stage with maestro Ilaiyaraaja to felicitate and be part of paying tribute to him, he has been the music director for many of my movies and the music were super-duper hits. I thoroughly respect our association.
“I felt so honoured as many of my musical hits are from Shri. Ilaiyaraaja, and my movie Geetanjali’s music went ahead to become one of the biggest hits in his music.” Akkineni Nagarjuna stated.
On 25th February, a tribute concert is scheduled to take place, one day prior to the live concert of Maestro Ilaiyaraaja. The tribute concert will feature a stellar line-up such as Music directors Anup Rubens, Vishal Chandrasekhar, renowned bands of Hyderabad, and noted singers paying homage to Maestro’s extraordinary musical journey. It is set to be a memorable celebration of the legendary composer’s illustrious career and his invaluable contribution to the world of music.
On 26th February, the maestro Ilaiyaraaja will be performing LIVE at the Gachibowli Stadium. The live-in concert will feature an ensemble of 80 musicians on stage and is expected to attract over 20,000 attendees to witness the spectacular event and savour the magic of his music. The tickets are almost sold out for his LIVE concert.
During his last visit to Hyderabad Maestro Ilaiyaraaja said, he is looking forward to performing in Hyderabad.
