I believe Venky can relax now with the success, as he has been waiting for this day, from long.”

Director Nag Ashwin congratulated entire team of Lucky Baskhar and said, “I am thrilled to see everyone at this event being like family members and enjoying the sucess. This doesn’t look like a formal event but like a family get-together. One cannot be a director just because you have a story to tell but you need life experiences and I believe Venky’s way of narrative explains how much of life he had experienced to bring it on screen. I loved GV Prakash Kumar’s music and when I first narrated Mahanati to Dulquer Salmaan, he stated that he cannot do a Telugu Film cut to seven years later, he has a hat-trick and he is as popular as any Telugu Superstar. ”

Meenakshi Chaudhary thanked everyone for giving love towards Sumathi, her character and she thanked each and every crew member for designing her character along with her. She thanked Dulquer Salmaan for being a great co-star in the film and making her comfortable to perform.

Music composer GV Prakash Kumar stated that he is happy to see both his films being blockbusters in Telugu – Lucky Baskhar and Tamil – Amaran. He stated that he believed in the script right from the day he heard and he is happy that his belief became truth.

Director Venky Atluri looked very happy and relieved with the success of the film. He remembered that Nag Ashwin auditioned him for a role in Life is Beautiful film and Hanu auditioned him for Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s film. He stated that he is thrilled to see them three standing on a stage together after working with Dulquer Salmaan and giving three blockbusters.

He thanked everyone from his team and every crew member for making this dream come true. He thanked GV Prakash Kumar for giving him great music and tolerating him. Talking about Dulquer Salmaan, he said, “We get a lot of confidence when a hero (or star) accepts our story. You get a huge boost as things fall into place. I thought it would be difficult to meet Dulquer and there could be a huge process to get the movie on sets. But thanks to Swapna Dutt, Sunny Wayne, they made it easy to meet you and then thanks to you for agreeing to be part of the film, immediately. Within two weeks of our meeting, we started shooting. I can’t thank him enough and I saw people connecting with every element.”

He continued to say, “My producer Vamsi garu, never asked us to cut the budget down and for the sake of telling a good story, he let us go over budget. But today, I am happy that his confidence in us has been proved right. I am happy to have conceived such a film but everything fell in place for this one. Thank you to my entire team and audiences for accepting this movie as their own language movie everywhere in Kerala, Karanataka and Tamil Nadu. Soon, it will do wonders in Hindi, too.”

Dulquer Salmaan thanked every cast and crew member. He said, “I never thought I would be a part of a Telugu film but Nagi (Ashwin) believed in me and I took a leap of faith looking at his belief that I can play Gemini Ganeshan in Telugu. Hanu sir carried it forward with Sita Ramam and I am grateful to him for giving me a movie to remember. Now, Lucky Baskhar is one memorable film in my career.”

He continued to say, “I believe this is a divine connection with Telugu people. They accepted me as their own and I’m thrilled to be part of this Industry. I have worked with Nimish Ravi for a long time and we both had to prove ourselves after our last film and we did. I am thankful to Banglann for his production design. I got a chance to worl with Ramky sir and Sai Kumar garu. I love them both. Ravi and I used to wonder how Sai Kumar sir’s voice used to reverberate in the sets.

My father wondered if Venky made the film and he is matured beyond his age and apperance. Thank you Venky for such a blockbuster. I used to fight with Navin Nooli, the editor, for chopping off some shots, scenes. But after watching the audiences eaction on first day, I thought he knew the best. I am going to work with him more.”
