Vijay Deverakonda stated that he introduced Dulquer at the ‘Mahanati’ event, and they became friends after their first meeting at the ‘Lucky Baskhar’ pre-release event

Lucky Baskhar starring Dulquer Salmaan, Meenakshi Chaudhary directed by Venky Atluri and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, respectively, is releasing on 31st October and the movie team conducted a grand pre-release event with The Rowdy Vijay Deverakonda and wizard of words Trivikram Srinivas.

Speaking at the event, Vijay Deverakonda wished luck to the team. He remembered his occasion with Dulquer Salmaan in his previous direct Telugu films – Mahanati and Sita Ramam. He stated that he introduced Dulquer at Mahanati event and they both became friends after their first ever meeting.

He continued to remember his association with Triviram Srinivas. He shared that after watching Pelli Choopulu, the director called him to Sithara Entertainments office and gave him the first check as producer. He remarked that after 7 years, they are doing VD12 and soon, the film will entertain everyone.

Later he said, “Venky Atluri is one of the most talented writer and director of Telugu Cinema. He has hits and flops but Lucky Baskhar is on a different level. I believe this is an International Level film and I wish my producers all the success with this film.”

Director Trivikram Srinivas once again won hearts with his mesmerizing speech. He said, “I loved the film Lucky Baskhar and speaking after watching it. You’ll see a different Dulquer Salmaan and he carried us into a bank as Baskhar and we feel like third wheeling him.

He continued to say, “Dulquer Salmaan’s performance mesmerised me as he effortlessly carried such a complicated character. No one can continue the legacy of a legend like Mammotty, it is very very difficult. But Dulquer has paved a path for himself and he is already a modern-day great actor. Director Venky Atluri gave every small character a memorable scene and they will stay with us. I loved everyone’s performance and became a fan of Ramky sir. The film gives every middle class person hope to take on an adventure and win. Your heart will be heavy after and there will be a smile on your lips after watching the film. This Diwali will be big for everyone in the team.”

Director Venky Atluri stated that he wanted to do something big and uniquely heroic post a film like Sir/Vaathi. He thanked Trivikram Srinivas for always being his inspiration and producing this movie, as well. He thanked Dulquer Salmaan and every cast, crew member for working tirelessly to bring his vision to life. He concluded by saying the movie will be give hope to everyone and it will connect with every audience member who wants, needs, desires and loves money, which is everyone.

Meenakshi Chaudhary thanked makers for a strong role and senior actor Ramky stated that he loved his character and narration of Venky Atluri. He praised Dulquer Salmaan’s performance and wished for the movie to be a grand success.

Dulquer Salmaan won hearts by speaking in Telugu. He shared that he always felt Vijay Deverakonda as his Lucky charm and he wished for it to work third time as well with Lucky Baskhar. He continued to state that director Venky Atluri looks like a college going person but he wrote a matured and lovely script, scenes in the film.

He remembered how his entire family are big fans of director Trivikram Srinivas and tried to get an autograph of the director for his kids. He thanked and praised guts producer Naga Vamsi for believing in such an untouched genre in Indian Cinema. He further praised Composer GV Prakash Kumar’s music and score for the film. He complemented cinematographer Nimish Ravi and Production designer Bangalan for their meticulous work and extensive research in recreating 80’s Bombay.

Finally, Dulquer Salmaan requested Telugu audiences to watch Lucky Baskhar in theatres as it is going to give them an unique and memorable theatrical experience for Diwali. The movie is going to have early premieres on 30th October from 6 PM onwards in Telugu states
