The trailer of “Lucky Bhaskar” by Dulquer Salmaan, directed by Venky Atluri and produced by Sithara Entertainments, is both mesmerizing and gripping.

Dulquer Salmaan, multilingual actor and prominent star of Indian Cinema, has been known for accepting diverse and highly engaging scripts. He gained trust of audiences who would want to watch his movies in theatres for the unique experience they offer, without fail. The actor has joined hands with blockbuster director Venky Atluri and prominent Telugu production house Sithara Entertainments for his next, Lucky Baskhar.

The makers have coined it as “ordinary man’s extraordinary journey”. The team has unveiled most eagerly awaited Lucky Baskhar trailer on 21st October 2024. The trailer gives us a glimpse into the world of Baskhar Kumar, who can risk anything for money. He doesn’t want to be a good or a bad man but a rich person who can do anything and earn so much money, that even his breathe will be respected.

Dulquer Salmaan in such greyish character is phenomenal. He is able to bring out the greed, love, angst, arrogance, confidence and every emotion in his eyes and body language. Being a character driven drama, Lucky Baskhar needs a performer like him to be at his best. And Dulquer delivered exactly what the author envisioned.

In an author backed role, a performer is always tested to the apex and Dulquer on his able shoulders gave wings to the vision of writer-director Venky Atluri. The writer-director also impresses us with sharp and apt lines like, “Sumathi, I’m not bad, I’m just rich”… “Cigarette, Alcohol, drugs … don’t stand a chance in front of Money..”

Meenakshi Chaudhary as Sumathi makes her mark and her scenes with Dulquer Salmaan promise to be a visual and dramatic treat. The trailer promises a superlative performance backed drama that is new for Indian Cinema.

Ace cinematographer Nimish Ravi with his sweeping movements and stunning visuals lets us time travel into the late 80’s and 90’s Bombay. He has been ably supported by production designer Banglan in creating extensive sets that recreate Bombay and also aptly support the mood of the scene and the film.

Imaginative and creative background score by composer GV Prakash Kumar is another major plus for the trailer and movie. His songs for the film have already gone viral and trailer promises another stunning output from him. Sound Design also needs to be credited for a perfect mix and Navin Nooli has expertly edited the film.

Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, respectively, are producing the film on a large canvas without any compromise. Srikara Studios is presenting it and Lucky Baskhar is scheduled for a grand worldwide release on 31st October in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Kannada languages.
