RC 16: Thangalaan Costume Designer Joins Ram Charan and Buchi Babu Sana’s Film

The release date for the highly anticipated political drama Game Changer, starring Global Star Ram Charan, has been officially confirmed. The film will have a grand worldwide release on December 20, 2024, in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. Directed by the renowned Shankar Shanmugam, Game Changer also features Bollywood actress Kiara Advani in the lead female role.

In the meantime, Ram Charan has signed his next project, tentatively titled RC 16, with Uppena director Buchi Babu Sana. This big-budget film has been making headlines, especially with the latest crew member announcement.

Aegan Ekambaram, the costume designer for Vikram’s Thangalaan, has joined the team for RC 16. In an Instagram post, Ekambaram expressed his excitement, saying, This is my first time working in Tollywood, and I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time. I’m grateful to director Buchi Babu Sana for this incredible opportunity, and I’m thrilled to collaborate with Mr. Ram Charan. It’s a wonderful chance to explore new horizons in Telugu cinema and learn about its rich traditions.

Currently in pre-production, RC 16 is expected to begin filming next month. Janhvi Kapoor has been cast as the female lead, while Shiva Rajkumar has also been confirmed as part of the cast. The project is being produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, in association with Sukumar Writings and presented by Mythri Movie Makers. AR Rahman will compose the music.
