Actors NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, director Koratala Siva, music composer Anirudh Ravichander, and other key members of the highly anticipated pan-India action drama, Devara, engaged with the Tamil film media today in Chennai. During the event, NTR made a heartfelt request to renowned Tamil filmmaker Vetrimaaran.

Expressing his admiration for the director, NTR said, “Vetrimaaran sir is my favorite filmmaker in Tamil cinema. Vetrimaaran sir, please direct a film with me, even if it’s in Tamil—we can dub it into Telugu later,” the Devara star eagerly requested. This statement has only fueled the ongoing rumors about a potential collaboration between NTR and Vetrimaaran, though it remains to be seen if the Viduthalai director will present a script suited for NTR in the future.

NTR also reminisced about his childhood days spent in Chennai. “Chennai holds a special place in my heart. I learned Kuchipudi here as a child. Cinema brings people from all languages together, and this unity is evident in the box office success of so many films. The Telugu film industry itself took its first steps in this city,” NTR fondly recalled.
