With films like ‘Oke oka Jeevitham’, ‘Sultan’, ‘Khaidi’ and ‘Khakee’, one of the major players in the South Indian Film industry, Dream Warrior Pictures have been producing significant stories for the silver screen. They have continued that tradition with their upcoming film ‘Farhana’ starring Aishwarya Rajesh who has earned a reputation as one of the most sought-after actresses of this generation.
Nelson Venkatesan, the director of two Tamil superhits Monster and Oru Naal Koothu, has wielded the megaphone. Actress Rashmika Mandanna who is being part of the production house’s other female-centric project Rainbow has launched the teaser of Farhana.
To support her family, Farhana played by Aishwarya Rajesh joins a call center job. The call center entertains the fantasies of people who call them, mostly men. Life turns upside down for Aishwarys when her family gets to know about her job.
Farhana is a refreshing addition to women-centric movies. The film provides a nuanced and insightful look into the experiences of not just Farhana but women in general. With a compelling story that centers around strongly etched characters, the movie will be a must-watch for anyone who loves good cinema.
The story revolves around Aishwarya Rajesh’s character and the actor who is known for her exceptional acting prowess has played it splendidly. The film’ss cast includes acclaimed director Sri Raghava, ‘Jithan’ Ramesh, Kitty, Anumol and Aishwarya Dutta.
Gokul Benoy, who has made a mark with his work behind the camera in films like Pannayarum Padminiyum and Monster, is the cinematographer. Justin Prabhakaran who enthralled the Telugu audience with his two previous outings, Dear Comrade and Radhe Shyam, has scored the music. National award winner Sabu Joseph has taken care of the editing.
Farhana will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages simultaneously on May 12th.
