Youthful love drama Kalyanam Kamaneeyam, featuring young actors Santosh Sobhan and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead roles released in theaters today. Here’s our review of the film.
Story: Love blossoms into marriage for Siva(Santosh) and Sruthi(Priya) but Siva is jobless and his efforts at trying to find a job go unnoticed by Sruthi, which leads to complications in their relationship.
Analysis: Santosh is flawless in his role. He looks tailor made for the role of a frustrated young lad who goes through lean phase of his life after marrying the love of his life.
The situations in the film are relatable. The conflicts after marriage, and related drama factor are the main helping cause of the film. It banks on the good chemistry between the lead pair.
It is interesting to see the love life after marriage and this is the USP of Kalyanam Kamaneeyam. The director Anil Alla succeeds in presenting the intriguing love drama.
There’s some lag in the latter half but it is compensated with emotionally touching episodes towards the end. The ending portion packs a punch and it has been executed well.
The music and background score are of top quality. The cinematography and making values are also of elite quality.
Verdict: Kalyanam Kamaneeyam is an enjoyable watch with a relatable plot. It banks on the chemistry between the lead pair and that works out well.
